Before we begin let’s look at
Pillar #2: Total Well Being:
Jim Rohn encouraged the importance of the total well being of your Body, Soul and Spirit.
These three areas can be realized as this: The Body: Eating right and exercise, Soul: Taking care of your intellect, emotions and will, Spirit: Taking care of your heart (the deepest part of you, the eternal).
Some people only focus on one. But balance is the key. They are all important and each part you strengthen, strengthens the others.
Here are some tips for taking care of your body:
- Exercise on a regular basis.
- Stretch after sitting more than an hour.
- Walk at least 30 minutes daily.
- Move around at work.
- Move around at home.
- Sleep 8 hours.
If you don’t do most of these, you are at risk of getting some diseases like cardiovascular diseases, stroke, type 2 diabetes, or cancer. If so Try to change your sedentary lifestyle and begin new.
Practice this as a habit for mental health:
Stay positive, no matter in what kind of situation you are.
- Read and practice motivation books
- Always be POSITIVE and laugh most of the time.
- Be aware of others feelings and respect the other people
- Be open towards new ideas and accept changes
- Be creative
- Always make decisions what is best for you and your family.
