Step 8, Part 3

.

Part Three:

Duplicating LEADERS

.
We want to re-emphasize this again. As we mentioned in another Step, The most important aspect is:

Creating Basic Duplication Review.
.
We’re emphasizing it here again to share its HUGE importance.
.
.

This is another reason why we share our whole upline with the team so they get a feeling of what theycan duplicate.
.
Duplication just means that you can pass on what you learned without too much trouble.
.

If you can become a leader and make a new leader and that leader can make a leader etc…then you will have accomplished what the GDI calculator is ALL ABOUT!
Duplication is everything!
.
DUPLICATING LEADERS:
.

Now understanding HOW do you find your leaders? Honestly, just by being patient and by bringing in new people each week, you will eventually find them. I found my first team leader three months down the line. I found Elizabeta and we became business partners on my fourth month. Just realize that I had been looking for someone like Elizabeta for years…so don’t be discouraged if your leaders don’t show up right away. Persistence is the key here. What distinguishes qualities of a true leader? Good question. Let me give you my formula.
.
The qualifications for someone you could call a leader are:
.
1) Big desire to succeed (you can tell by their weekly actions).
2) Not a quitter. (Has been on our team for 6 months at least)
3) Willingness to learn.
4) Advertises every day without fail.
5) Communicates with us often.
6) Willing to work the plan. Implements the 7 KEYS consistently.
7) On our team in GDI, PMS or PLS as a paying member
8) Working through the Training consistently each week.
.
So how do you qualify these? Well leaders will read the 7 KEYS and not only read them but implement them almost at once. In fact, they almost do them without even reading the 7 KEYS (but not always).
.
.
One thing I will share with you about a real leader. They will either find a workout partner or connect with their sponsor (until they find their own workout partner) every day. If they show reluctance to connect with you, it may only be that they are afraid of bugging you. Let them know this is not the case! You can often tell a leader from this one key alone. But the other Keys ARE important too.
.
The INNER CIRCLE:
.
If you find someone like this, ask your sponsor about the leader you believe has these traits. If your sponsor agrees with you, then you may want to send your leader an invitation to the Inner Circle. This means that you believe they have what it takes to succeed and want to help them. This also clarifies what the rules are (the 7 KEYS).
.
There is a page you can get with communication ideas and thoughts to share with your potential Inner Circle and with those inside it. If you write your leader and they are interested to know more about the Inner Circle, use the script to send them the 7 KEYS. If they agree to keep the 7 Key Commitments, then you MAY have a new leader on your team. What REALLY will clarify if they are in the Inner Circle is simply that they keep the 7 Keys consistently – period.
.
What is the point of the Inner Circle? The Inner Circle is based on the idea that building leaders is EASIER than building regular members. Creating duplication with leaders is much more effective.
.
In fact, most members have what many call an “expiration date”. Their date of expiration (or quitting) is anywhere from 1 month to 3 months. Of course, it may be less then 7 days, but the average is this. So instead of focusing on helping members who have not proved themselves, it’s our opinion that focusing on those who are in it for the long haul are much more worth your time. This doesn’t mean to not help your regular members and not believe in them. It just means to be wary of spending too much time with those who have not proven themselves to you!
.
The idea for the Inner Circle is to create 6 main leaders and help those six get their six. In this way you can create duplication with a factor much more open to working (true leaders rarely quit). This does NOT mean a leader will not quit, however. But the chances are much smaller. One year I had a leader and she literally brought 4 leaders in under her in just a month or two. I was astounded!
.
But she didn’t understand what qualified as a true leader. Each of these leaders went through all Steps to Six Figures (all 16 Steps) training and this is what gave her the impression that they would stick. But they had NOT proven themselves for over 3 months. And some of them were not good communicators.
.
True to form, they all quit in a month or two. And this caused her to go into such a depression that she eventually quit herself. She had built a huge team in only a few months and the loss of her team affected me a lot! In fact, I lost a third of my team in 6 months. That really hurt. I wish I had seen that coming!
.
What would I have done differently? Well for one, I wouldn’t have encouraged her to spend so much time with each of them. She had given huge amounts of time working with them and it was a big waste. I also wish I had written this training for her to read! .
In addition, just the fact that she was able to bring in four leaders in three months was a testament that some people have amazing abilities that perhaps even outmatch your own (I know it outmatched my skills). In my life, I’ve had two such leaders on my team. Both surprised me and doubled my team “almost overnight”. I learned two things. Sometimes their methods of bringing in new members has to do with either two things:
.
1) Amazing selling skills
.
2) A ton of experience and fame in some circles.
.
If you ever get a leader like this, just watch out. It can be an awesome thing for your team, but it can also explode on the backend too! I think the idea here is to make sure your team leader is using duplicatable methods. You MAY or MAY NOT be able to control this. You can encourage them and that’s about it. Sometimes a word spoken at the right time can make all the difference.
.
But it may not be all your fault if it goes wrong. Sometime leaders like this are running faster than you are (or at least at an equal pace)! Just encourage them to go through the training and send them the 7 KEYS and encourage them to follow them and bring other leaders in with the same method.
.
Also, don’t worry. At the best-case scenario, they will be an awesome asset and confirm that sometimes things in life can go faster than you expect. At the worst-case scenario, your team will explode and hopefully you can find a leader in your downline that will become a true leader who will stick.

.
While You Wait for Your Six…
.
There is a way inside the Power Lead System to advertise one splash page and bring in members to GDI, PMS and PLS all at the same time. If you want to know more about this, ask your team leader or Albie.
..
You can ALSO see what additional income streams your team leader suggests on their page.

.

You can take a test run of the :  TEAM LEADERS LINK.

Don’t forget to find your team leaders name and click on it to go to their page!
