Practical Implementation of

“The Power Of One”:

Do you see how if each of us implements this, just how powerful this will be for our team and what it will do for each of us!

Three Practical Steps:

1.  Learning how to get one new member on your team a month (on your own). 

2.  Encouraging your team to do the same.

3.  Monthly Accountability:

If so, then just send in your statement,

so we can help encourage you and work with you! Your statement needs to have these three ingredients for the Power of One to work for you. If you agree with them just include them in your statement:

One:  Belief in the system

Two:  Ability to either:

When using network marketing:

Tell two people a day (starts with connecting with two people on your list or giving out two business cards a day).

When using ONLINE marketing:

Get at least a minimum of 1000 hits online a week

to your promotional link.

You can also do both if you want to stretch your comfort zone. But you should know that doing one or both does NOT mean you will automatically get a new member a month. But it’s a good place to start! Getting a new member is really based on learning the 5 Critical Skills and your ability to grow in your skills. And beginning to master these skills will mean you will bring in more and more members a month!

Commitment to work the strategy and helping your team.

Directions for writing your Statement: 

Make sure to add your name (not username as I won’t know who this is!) and to include your commitment statement to all three ingredients of the Power of One:

1) Belief in it, 2) Daily/weekly strategy 3) Commitment to work the strategy and help your team and lastly any questions you might have.

Okay, so to begin implementing this, simply go get your affiliate link in your Backoffice either in GDI, PMS or PLS and start connecting with others. To get a healthy strategy to do this, please read the following and watch the video down below:

Now you can begin advertising this link and/or give this link out to anyone you can think of that you think might be interested to join you. If you make a list of 100 people that you know, you will likely find a few who might want to join you. Just make sure you use the method explained in the video below, or you will most likely have a lot of problems and we want to take as much stress and worry off of you as possible.

The Importance of Creating a List. (My Story):

What creating a list and connecting with them did for me:

.

Ok so first of all many years ago when I was in network marketing, I decided to give it my all, work past my comfort zone (because it’s not easy to approach some of your friends and family) and just do it. So, I made a list of about 30 people. Most of these people I was not inspired to talk to really and I could imagine their responses to me. But there were a few I felt ok about approaching, so I plucked up the courage to call them.

I just simply asked them if they were open to making some extra money. They said yes and so I shared a link with them and told them I would get back with them later the next day. They checked out the links and were interested in the program. I then introduced them to my “manager” (team leader) via a 3-way call (you can do this by email too) and told them he was super experienced in this business, had made a lot of money (which he had) and that he was super busy but had a few minutes to talk with them. This is building up respect for my leader so that my prospects understand things properly and will treat them as they deserve. Not only that but it allows my prospects to know that success is happening on our team!

So, the conversation with my sponsor went well and they wanted to join. Not only did they join but they eventually brought a couple of their friends into the program too as they were super excited! Not only that but I became more confident to call other friends after that and just ask them if they were interested in making extra money. If they said “no” or asked “what it was?” I just said that IF they did want to make extra income, I would send them a link to check it out as I’m not good at explaining it all (DO NOT EXPLAIN IT!).

If they said “yes” then I sent the link. If they still didn’t answer the question, they didn’t qualify and I just said “Ok, no problem. This isn’t for everyone. Thanks for chatting with me!” and moved on to the next person. I made $500 that month just from that activity. Now, I cannot promise how much you will make (it depends on a lot of factors such as what program you’re in: GDI,PMS or PLS and how much you work at it, how you approach people and what connection you have with them). However, I can promise that if you’re persistent, you will get results eventually as you learn to do it correctly.

The Difference Between Network Marketing

and Online Marketing

.

The thing about ALL marketing is that it’s ALL about BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS.

.

If you do ONLINE MARKETING – then the goal is to get the person on your LIST from an ad (they subscribe to know more) so you can connect with them and build a relationship through your emails. It’s no different than network marketing except in network marketing you START off ALREADY knowing them.

.

The problem with internet marketing is that if you send ads and stay “cold” to your prospects – they will always remain “cold”. “Cold” means they don’t know, like or trust you. Unless they get to know like and trust you, you will have a hard time getting sales – no matter what you do.

.

So, the point of network marketing is to learn how to deal with warm market FIRST so you will understand it and be able to create the same equation with internet marketing (if you see what I mean).

.

Alan talks about Contact first, then Rapport and then Qualifying them and then a few more things. Let’s just examine the qualifying part right now:

.

“Qualifying” them just means asking “if they are open to making extra money” for example. “Qualifying” them is ESSENTIAL. It’s actually completely pointless to tell them more if they don’t qualify because they ARE NOT INTERESTED. If they say “NO” then move on to the next person.

.

Network marketing is EASY if you do it right. After you understand Network Marketing it’s easy to understand how to create that same connection with people via email and internet marketing.

You can earn your first red star in Advertising Levels by:

.

1) Making a list of 30-100 people you know and contacting them using the “Non Magic Formula” (Level One Advertising).

2) Doing your 1000 hits (marketing online) for your team for 3 weeks consistently (if you’re in GDI under us. This is Level 3 Advertising). If you’re in PMS or PLS, getting 1000 hits in one week is the best way to start getting results advertising to cold markets (those who don’t know you). You can get a star by showing your hits to your sponsor/team leader. 

3) Getting a New Member (7-day student) on your team in either GDI, PMS or PLS (tell us how you got that member for us to know what level advertising star you get).

Safelist Advertising:

Now if you understand advertising on Safelist’s, you can begin promoting this way too. This is “cold market advertising” so we don’t expect you to get a lot of results here until you understand all Five Critical Skills. However, it’s important to get started and begin learning so you can find your team leaders Traffic Sites on his Team Leaders page.
